Built in 1882, the Lake Placid Lodge tragically burned to the ground in December 2005. TruexCulins immediately began working with the Garrett Hotel Group to design a new lodge in a style true to its original Adirondack heritage. Recently completed, the exceptional wood and stone detailing are a testament to the skills of the local craftspeople who worked on this project. Lake Placid Lodge is a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux Hotel Association and was voted "World's Best Places to Stay" for three consecutive years by Condé Nast Traveler- Gold List. The luxurious 35 guest suite inn combines rustic elegance with the comfort of a mountain retreat. This project was a collaboration with Joszi Meskan Associates.
