The Burlington Tennis Club retained TruexCullins' design services to repair the existing clubhouse structure with a new facility. An initial programming session identified the major needs of the new facility. The ultimate design solution was a 60x60’ platform, half of which is outdoor covered porch space oriented to the clay courts on one side and to the pool area on the other. The porches are detailed with fir posts and ceilings and scored concrete floors. The remaining areas consist of a clubhouse living room with a high fir ceiling, exposed fir trusses, and lowered ceiling areas for the remaining facilities.
