Currently in Schematic Design, the Topnotch Resort and Spa is proposing an expansion of 42 to 50 guest rooms with new reception and lobby areas. The primary public functions will include a communal living room, a café and bar, and a large multi-function banquet room. Site and landscape improvements will include a reconfiguration of the entry drive to enhance the sense of arrival, a continuation and enlargement of the existing pool terraces, the native plantings and the event lawns. The building character will express vernacular form and honest expression of material, texture and color.

The new Topnotch will continue and support the Resort’s history in providing an intimate quality that welcomes guests to gather for pleasure, relaxation and security in a place that generates a special connection to the natural environment.

TruexCullins has been selected to provide Architectural and Interior Design services for the project. Construction is expected to begin mid-2012.
