Truex Cullins & Partners Architects received 1st place in the design competition for this important landmark. Its symbolic form of a ship represents the connection between the lake and the land, while reflecting the historic significance of Mount Independence. The 7,900 sf facility includes exhibition space, an auditorium/classroom, and artifact storage.
