David Epstein, AIA, LEED™ AP, of TruexCullins will be speaking at two upcoming international school conferences, the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) Conference in Tallinn, Estonia in March and the European Council of European Schools (ECIS) Administrators' Conference in Malta in April.  Epstein will be speaking on what it means to be green for international school facilities utilizing the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED™ Green Building Rating System as a framework for understanding.  His talks will address both sustainable design concepts and practical measures that schools can undertake to create high performance learning environments.
 
David Epstein is a Principal at TruexCullins, an architecture and interior design firm, and leads its Education Studio in the design of K-12 schools both in the U.S. and abroad.  He has brought his leadership in sustainability and educational design to international schools in eight countries on three continents, and has spoken on these issues at several international school conferences both in Europe and the United States.  A registered architect since 1989, Epstein has an architecture degree from the Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies, is a LEED™ Accredited Design Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and is a member of American Institute of Architects.
