Mount Anthony Union Middle School is a new 150,000 sf state-of-the-art facility designed for over 900 students. TruexCullins worked successfully with the Mount Anthony School Board beginning in 1994, assisting in site selection assessments, existing facility analysis, passing the bond vote as well as educational specifications and space programming. A key design strategy was to create schools within schools in an effort to provide the most appropriate setting for middle school age children. The design also employs the latest technologies in energy efficiency and indoor air quality while at the same time utilizing durable time-tested materials in a sensible way.
