Initially, TruexCullins was asked to design the renovation of a lakeside home for a couple nearing retirement with a large extended family. After thorough review, however, the decision was made to tear down the existing house and build a new one. This quintessential shingle style home evokes seaside living with its signature cupola. The lake side of the house enjoys views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, and features large windows and a porch that runs the length of the house. The open floor plan features a large living room, informal dining area, attached kitchen, and adjacent formal dining room, accommodating multiple generations of visitors. The bright and welcoming interior embraces and complements its lakeside setting.
