TruexCullins was commissioned by the University of Vermont to renovate and improve the existing dining facility located in the Harris Millis Residence Hall complex. The goals of the project included increased seating to a minimum of 400 seats to accommodate higher use from the new University Heights Residences, improved facilities for Summer Programs, enhanced and innovative Foodservice delivery, air conditioning to the dining facility and retaining the first floor lounge area. The design solution provides additional area for seating and marketplace format foodservice in two one-story building additions, with a new bright color palette that enhances the diner’s experience.
