Debevoise Hall
Vermont Law School South Royalton, Vermont Vermont Law School’s 110 year old Debevoise Hall serves as an historic landmark in South Royalton’s village center. While maintaining the building’s historic exterior integrity, we were challenged by Vermont Law School to make certain that the structure’s renovation incorporated a high level of sustainable initiatives; as a result, cutting edge building technologies are incorporated to minimize the use of electricity, water and fuel. Interior design strategies included the selection of regional materials, low VOC finishes, locally made furniture from FSC certified wood and locally made rugs and lighting fixtures. This project is a LEED Silver Certified Project. Photos by Westphalen Photography |
