SHELBURNE, VERMONT

The interior design of this multi-generational home connects the indoors with the outdoors and provides continuity between the architecture and the interior.  The color palette echoes the natural setting -- warm earth tones complement abundant wood and stone finishes, while jewel tones enliven the spaces.  TruexCullins commissioned local artisans to produce custom furniture, hand woven rugs and organic handcrafted lighting for this project.  Materials are simple yet elegant, rich yet comfortable.  Clean lines and expansive glass are softened with luxurious textures.  The design also reflects the varied lifestyles of three generations, allowing for both shared and private living spaces.
