This iconic resort is perched on the picturesque hillside of Sausalito, California, overlooking San Francisco Bay. The rebranded property includes a new hotel lobby, full-service spa, 22 hillside guest cottages, and a historic Victorian mansion dating to 1885, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Our design solution establishes a new identity for the resort and embraces the elements that make the Casa Madrona so special: the striking hillside location with panoramic views of San Fransisco Bay, the rich nautical history, and the creative and independent spirit of the Sausalito community.
