TruexCullins Interiors is spearheading the interior design of the new 126-bedroom Hotel Vermont, located on a prime site on Cherry Street in Burlington, midway between the Church Street Marketplace and the City’s waterfront. The ground floor of the hotel is organized around a bar and lounge with outdoor seating on the South Terrace with views of Lake Champlain beyond. The project is under construction, and is seeking LEED Silver Certification by the US Green Building Council.

The new Hotel Vermont will serve the lifestyle needs of moderate and upscale leisure and business travelers seeking an authentic and unique “Vermont” experience. The interiors are designed to stimulate the senses, exuding comfort and casual warmth while encouraging productivity. Brick, stone and wood is combined in a modern composition that uses local materials without nostalgia.

The project team includes TruexCullins Interiors, Smith Buckley Architects, and lighting consultants Available Light.
