The clients requested a house with a distinctly modern aesthetic and made mention of their appreciation for Japanese residential architecture. The design breaks down the barrier between inside and out, providing abundant natural light, and feels warm and comfortable in both materials and scale. The end result is a stunning house appropriately connected to its waterfront site.
