TruexCullins was commissioned to design six homes as part of a green community called South Farm Homes. All the homes in the development are net zero, which means they are intended to produce as much energy as they use over the course of the year. Environmental features include geo thermal heating, radiant concrete floors, triple pane windows, super insulated walls and roofs, active PV solar panels (welded to the metal roofing of each home), and south facing glass - which provide solar gain and great views.

This project won the “Best of the Best” award for green building at the Better Buildings by Design conferences in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
