This house will be located in the mountains that overlook the Waterbury, VT Reservoir. It will feature electricity generating photovoltaic panels laminated to a standing seam metal roof, as well as solar hot water. The house will be a true net zero energy home, meaning it will create more energy than it uses throughout the course of the year. Construction will be completed the summer of 2010.
