This 85’ glazed corridor connects an existing guest house with the main building on a site in Charlotte, VT.  The addition connects the two buildings with a large open space that will contain a new entry vestibule with powder room, a banquet & bar area, wine cellar and gallery. Defining characteristics include large expanses of glazing to the west to admit afternoon sun and uninterrupted views, sliding doors that open the space to the landscape on either side, deep roof overhangs and integrated vegetative screens to block excess solar gain.
