The 40,000 sf Windham Regional Career Center was a significant part of the extensive renovation and addition project to the Brattleboro High School, Middle School and Career Center complex. Located on a site adjacent to the existing school, the new Career Center houses vocational training programs that can access both smaller scale classroom/computer laboratories and open training/instructional spaces. Fundamental to the design of the building is the understanding of the absolute necessity of integrating active learning and computer technology into the workplace and the need for flexible responses to future requirements for workforce training.
