TruexCullins has been working with the Hinesburg Community School on its ongoing initiative to enhance the school's learning environment since 1998.  Together we have renovated and added space to the 70,000 sf facility to accommodate the school's changing educational and facility needs.
 
In an ongoing effort to improve the facility, the Hinesburg Community School hired TruexCullins in 2008 to provide master planning and pre-bond design services.  The school received a successful $2.5M bond vote in March of 2009 to address a poor performing 1969 classroom wing.  The proposed scope-of-work includes 14,000 sf of renovations and consists of renovating the interior of the 1969 Classroom Wing in an effort to improve the overall learning environment and energy efficiencies of the wing, while at the same time improving campus security by relocating the administration suite.  In addition, enlarged public ADA compliant restrooms, a new Flex-space, centralized nurses suite, new roof on the 1969 addition, and a fire suppression sprinkler system are all planned as part of this project.
